ALOR SETAR, Dec 27 (Bernama) -- Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) is making arrangements for students who miss the final examination scheduled from Dec 20 to Jan 15 due to the floods to take the test later.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohamed Mustafa Ishak said these students could contact the Department of Academic Affairs (JHEA).

"The students will be told of the date for this replacement examination," he said in a statement here today.

He said the JHEA Examination Unit would identify and verify the students who did not attend the examination due to the floods.

The floods have struck eight states - Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Perak, Kedah, Perlis and Negeri Sembilan - so far, and sent 132,684 people to evacuation centres.
