KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 (Bernama) -- Vital Images, Inc. is to reveal its Version 6.7 of Vitrea® software, with new features and enhancements to its cardiovascular, neurovascular and oncology applications, at the 100th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago from Nov 30-Dec 4, 2014.

Version 6.7 would also include service, integration and efficiency enhancements, said a statement issued in Minneapolis (US).

Besides, it reflects Vital's ongoing commitment in developing clinical meaningful applications and providing relevant and efficient diagnostic tools.

The Image Denoising functionality was enhanced to automatically smooth out uniform tissue while preserving edges, which gives users a clearer view of denoised images.

The statement added, general and integration enhancements include improvements to Vitrea's STL export functionality, providing flexibility to export from Vitrea for use in 3D printing capabilities, such as CAD modeling, computational modeling and surgical simulation.

Furthermore, it includes partner technologies such as Olea Sphere®, Visia ™ CT Lung CAD, Mirada RTX and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Cardia Suite.

On top of that, Vital will also introduce Vitrea.InnerVision, a monitoring software solution that provides proactive diagnostic and resolution services to Vital customers.

"Vitrea.InnerVision allow us to securely and non-invasively monitor system health continuously and proactively resolve issues, many times before our customers even realize there is an interruption of performance," said Jim Litterer, General Manager at Vital Imgaes, Inc. in the same statement.
