HSBC Walks For The Children of Rumah Hope!

PETALING JAYA, Nov 13 (Bernama) - HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad (HSBC) will be organising its annual fundraising programme, the Charity Partner Walk 2014 on Sunday, 23 November.

The walk will be flagged of at 7 and it is scheduled to finish by 11am at the final pit stop at Dataran Petaling Jaya (Padang Timur), Selangor.

The 5km fun Walk is open to public and a turnout of 3,000 participants are expected to participate in the programme.

The Walk aims to raise funds for HSBC's Charity Partner, Rumah Hope - a home for abused and neglected children aged five to 17 years old.

The HSBC Charity Partner programme is a fundamental part of the bank's corporate sustainability initiative which is set-up as a platform to encourage the bank’s management, employees and customers to make a difference in the community.

This is the second year HSBC is running the Charity Partner programme to promote employee engagement and also to raise greater awareness for our chosen Charity.

There will also be a mini carnival with various activity booths and food stalls at the venue on the day of the event.

Participants are welcomed to join in the fun filled activities to make the weekend a memorable and noble one.

Registration fee is RM20 for adults aged 18 and above and RM10 for students.

Interested public can walk-in to register at selected HSBC branches in the Klang Valley or the Federal Territory Amateur Athletic Association (FTAAA) or choose to register online at www.hoohaa.asia.
