UCYP signs MoU with Indonesian, Thai universities

KUANTAN, Nov 23 -- The University College of Yayasan Pahang (UCYP) today has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with four ASEAN universities in the effort to strengthen joint-venture network and boost the presence of its brand at the international level.

Its Board of Governor chairman, Tan Sri Dr Noorul Ainur Mohd Nor said the MoU also marked UCYP as a university which was capable of giving an impact in international co-operation through education, research, conferences and publishings.

‘’UCYP is very honoured at the co-operation from the universities concerned and this MoU can give a clear guideline with the co-operation and commitment to make beneficial use of the intellectual capital, expertise, resource and capacity in the progress of of vision and strategy.

‘’Through the co-operation too, UCYP will head a research and publishing co-operation other than firming bilateral education ties through student mobility activities, exchange of lecturers and organisation of  international level education workshops,’’ she said.

Noorul Ainur said this in her speech at the signing of the MoU between UCYP with representatives of Politeknik Negeri Malang (POLINEMA), Universitas Bengkulu (UNIB) and Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED) all from Indonesia and Phetchaburi Rajabhat University (PBRU), Thailand at the Pahang Foundation Complex here today.
