KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 (Bernama) – Honor Malaysia is collaborating with locally renowned filmmakers, Quek Shio Chuan and Ismail Kamarul, to capture the directors' lives off-camera with the latest Honor View20.

With the collaboration, the smartphone brand aims to bridge local art and technology to tell compelling stories, capture vivid experiences and push the limits of their visual expressions.

Head of Honor Malaysia, Zhao Zhiwei in a statement said, “Photography is now integrated in much of what we do, facilitating much of our daily interactions. Through this collaboration,

Honor is glad to be able to provide the tools and support that inspire creativity, tapping into the individualism of our artistic partners with the Honor View20.”

Quek and Kamarul have been making waves in the local filmmaking and video directing industry with multiple festive-themed TVCs that have gone viral such as the heart-warming Malaysian Festive Raya Campaign with Petronas, and the entertaining Chinese New Year advertisement for Tenaga Nasional Bhd.

“There is always more than one side to a story and it’s all about the small details. The Honor View20’s powerful camera is able to keep up with my cinematographic visions, providing me the tools to take my passion and career to the next step,” said Quek who is set to direct an upcoming Mandarin original series for Netflix this year.

“With the Honor View20, I’m able to capture every detail with ultimate clarity in various environments and lighting conditions. Its camera capabilities go far beyond my expectations and I’m excited to be able to express my idea as it will continue to challenge me to push my boundaries in film-making,” said Kamarul.

Launched in January this year, Honor View20 is set to redefine photography capabilities with a powerful 48MP camera and 3D camera technology.
