Samsung Galaxy S10, Sets Record with First Launch to Space

KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 (Bernama) – Samsung Malaysia Electronics  set the record by becoming the nation's first smartphone brand attempting its first-ever flight stunt to the earth's stratophere.

The precious cargo that was launched 80,000 ft above ground was its newest smartphone, the Galaxy S10. The launch at SkyAvenue, Genting Highlands recently, was to demonstrate the Galaxy S10’s outstanding camera capabilities, said Samsung in a statement.

“Today, you will see that we have created a new standard for all of you who desire and expect more from your mobile companion," said its president, Yoonsoo Kim.

"The Galaxy S10 is constructed with pragmatic intelligence and crafted to design perfection so people can unlock their potential and experience the world like never before," he was quoted as saying at the launch.

"This is a very special year for us at Samsung because this is our tenth year of relentless innovation to bring you, the people, the next-generation smartphone,” he added.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 series are available from RM2,699 to RM4,599.
