KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 (Bernama) -- Police in the United Kingdom were alarmed with the growing cases of cyberflashing on public transport, reported BBC Reel.

Cyberflashing is the occurrence of receiving unsolicited sexual images of stranger that were sent to people's phones via features like Bluetooth and AirDrop on iPhones.

The AirDrop feature allows people to send images to anyone within a close proximity, as long as they set it to ‘everyone’, and it could be done anonymously

BBC Reel also stated that some people had been urging the Apple Inc. to disable their photo preview picture, in which Apple only responded for the public to change their privacy settings.

The series of cases cause distress to the public, and campaigners began to fight for new law in confronting cyberflashing.
