KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) Roadshow 2018 is expected to be widened to selected universities in the Klang Valley at the end of this year.

Bernama Senior Manager of National Sales Norena Yaacob said the suggestion to widen the roadshow would be discussed with the top management of Bernama.

“If it is implemented, the roadshow will give more exposure to Bernama, its products and services especially to students pursuing courses in mass communication.

“In the roadshow, they (undergraduates) can try their talents  as news readers and to a certain extent give early exposure on journalism and the broadcasting world,” she said at the roadshow at Sunway Putra shopping centre, here today.

The Bernama Roadshow, which is on its seventh day, also conducted several interactive activities including children’s colouring competition, news reading talent competition for Bernama News Channel (BNC) and Bernama Radio beginning at 11am until 4pm.

Bernama Roadshow 2018 is a collaboration program between the Marketing Department, Bernama Radio and BNC which tour several locations including Lot 10 Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jakel Mall in Jalan Munshi Abdullah and Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS).

The final location will be the Taman Botani Shah Alam in conjunction with the program Bernama Gembo-Gembo Run to be held on Sept 22.
