UiTM Graduates Preferred By Employers Because Of Their Proficiency In English - Arshad Ayub

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- Efforts by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in emphasising the importance of English in all fields of studies since its establishment has enabled it to produce marketable graduates, said its Pro-Chancellor Tan Sri Arsyad Ayub.

He said it was because of that employers were more keen to employ UiTM graduates than those from other universities.

"In the early years of its establishment, 90 per cent of the lecturers at the university (then known as Institute Technology MARA - ITM) taught in English and it (ITM) also emphasised professional courses," he said when appearing as a guest on the Bernama News Chanel 'Nine 11' today.....
