Parents Unite For Online Safety First TN50 Programme Implemented

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 (Bernama) -- The Parents Unite for Online Safety awareness programme launched today is the first of such joint effort between the government and a private company implemented under the National Transformation 2050 (TN50) initiative.

Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the programme, a collaborative effort between the government and Celcom Axiata Berhad, was an online safety campaign for the younger generation, and implemented earlier although TN50 would only be launched in September.

"It is one of the ideas derived from the TN50 dialogues carried out last year, and there many more. However, Celcom was the first to respond to this aspiration and implemented it before the launch of TN50 itself," he said at the launch of the programme at Menara Celcom here.....
