Robert Pattinson, Loyalty Is Important For A Friendship
LOS ANGELES, June 20 -- The 'Twilight' hunk believes a strong relationship is based around faithfulness, and he insists he's been "really lucky" to have pals that have thoroughly supported him throughout his rise to fame.
Speaking to The Stir at a press stop in Los Angeles for his new movie 'The Rover', he said, "I think loyalty is probably the most important trait in a friendship. It's definitely very important.
"I was really lucky to have pretty great friends growing up ... I think I've had all my friends for at least 10 years. I have a very optimistic view of the world mainly because I like my life!"
Meanwhile, the 28 year old actor, who recently admitted he's homeless, is back in contact with his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart, whom he split from following her alleged affair with her 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders in 2012, and regularly stays at her home in Los Feliz when he travels to Los Angeles so he can spend time with their dogs, Bear and Bernie.
A source said previously, "Rob doesn't have his own place in LA. When he's in town, he sometimes stays at the Chateau Marmont and very often at Kristen's when she's out of town. This gives him the chance to hang out with Bear and Bernie.
"Rob and Kristen aren't romantic or anything, but they are still really close and would do anything for each other."
